Have you seen the doc on Sound City? Some grate music was made there. It


talked about the crazy amount of talent that walked through their doors.
IIRC, Dave Grohl bought the sound board on that show, took it home and set it up in his studio. He invited other artists that had recorded at Sound City to cut an album. (If not the same show, look for this one too.)
