1. VA is not a surprise, the big schools have targeted more aggressively than ever. WIth folks ingrained and remaining in the area, and nurturing the players early. We just say hi we are VT.

2. Too many schools interested in VA while limited national players. The state is much more transient and less kids playing football. Its more soccer and some schools have just quit playing football.

3. Its hindsight but when VT was good, VT stayed with the state martra too long and didn't expand recruiting reach. We had a national view for a while, but we didnt reqruit nationally.

4. Think we need much more $$$ in recruiting and support staff. ITs got to be sophisticated and targeted nation wide. Its more like NFL now and scouting for draft picks.....
