Certainly an opinion. Don't necessarily disagree.
Being an analytical, I'd like to see some data behind this.
How do you define "best" coach? Why wouldn't FCS coaches come into the mix (say NDSU/App State coaches) come into play? This is basically "who has had the most national spotlight" which doesn't necessarily mean the best coach. To my understanding, Dabo is more of a CEO (assemble great staff and communicate the vision) rather than a X's and O's "coach".
Would be interested in seeing a metric of something like rolling recruiting class rating vs. season rankings or wins or some way to normalize the talent level and other resources although you could certainly argue that attracting the talent is a major part of the coaches job.
As far as doing more with less, Bronco has done quite well.
