If he goes 6-6, 7-5 will these players actually sign?
Heck, they could start 0-3, UCF then Auburn then JMU hangover game. Miami, Pitt, UVA and VT are not going to be gimme games. Who knows what BC will do with the new coach. Any team with a decent defence will be tough because I see them giving up about 28 pts./game even to marginal offensive teams.
That being said, IF they go 1-1 UCF/Auburn and IF Howell takes a step forward and IF their defense isn't as soft as butter, I could see them going 10-2 with the other loss not necessarily against us. Their schedule gets very soft at the end of the year.
Finally, how about a scenario where Howell has the sophomore slump or gets injured (a.k.a looks like Ryan Willis); is this team even favored in half the games?
I also don't really understand the recruiting draw. With their history, I would not be $uprised if they are bending some rules.
