Obvious English major or non-VT graduate
Let's do the math. By your statement, there are 7 different things at a football game that have a higher death rate than .3%. With a crowd of 60,000, a .3% death rate would mean that at least 180 people would die from each of your 7 things. That would mean that at least 1,260 people would die as a result of attending ONE game. By your math, if you attended every VT game for about 14 years you would statistically only have a 50/50 chance of being alive. No wonder attendance is dropping. Critical thinking; try it.
