What history do you think is being rewritten or erased?

When Saddam Hussein's statue was torn down, do you think the people of Iraq denied that he was once their leader?

No one is denying that at one point people thought the person depicted by a statue deserved a statue. They are simply denying that they still deserve that honor.

Nor is anyone burning the books about these people or the time they lived in.
