N’guessan might given that we have 4 bigs. He is a very versatile player

however. A lot will depend on whether there are any injuries. Mutts is fairly crafty down low and he is very long and would probably be more effective offensively with Aluma or Pemsl than JO...but him and big John could really be a nightmare for opponents defensively. Mutts is a huge upgrade defensively and on the boards. If N’guessan needs convincing that a redshirt would be a good thing he might look at the career path of De’Andre Hunter who was a top 100 kid who listened to a smart coach and became a lottery pick. For that matter Huff was a top 100 kid who took a shirt too but he was 7’1 190 so it’s obvious why he sat. And he was a bit overrated out of high school. Regardless Mutts is a good player and offers coach a lot of versatility with lineups
