How can you play a season with large swathes of the team missing games?
And that's just bare minimum, there will be no fans, college athletes aren't compensated or isolated enough to play.
The virus causes lasting damage and the biggest risk factors are comorbidities like weight and high blood pressure. It also disproportionately impacts people of color more severely. If I were the size of an offensive lineman I'd be really scared of catching this thing.
Bottom line is the risk far outweighs the reward for college football to be played. If however the entire team has antibodies, they can probably manage it. My post was part TIC, but it also has some logic. The virus takes a minimum of 14 days to be cleared as recovered with many cases dragging on with adverse effects for months.
