I will agree that Fuente is too much of a straight shooter to be a great recruiter. Doesn't seem to have much snake-oil salesmen like, I don't know, say Mack Brown. I respect Fuente more for it. Always seems to take the high road and do what's best for the players even at the expense of his reputation - I prefer this to the win at any cost mentality.
