In fact with the pay to play legislation, it will be even harder for us. Our brand, at this point, is dead. What is our brand of football now? Are we special in any way? I know what Beamer created is very unique in college football but we got where we are largely by feasting on lesser opponents over the years and not really playing in good conferences long term (I'm talking multiple decades). Our overall SOS and record combination puts us in the class of the following schools (All-time wins)-(Bowls). We are at 716 wins-34 bowls.

Interestingly I think Baylor is probably the closest to getting into a playoff than any school on here. Only Utah has a worse SOS than us.
