Interesting - I had been looking for information on excess deaths...


compared to the average because I felt that would be the most objective measure of the impact of the pandemic.

I work in Medicare - we cover the sickest and most frail. We saw a significant uptick in deaths in April and May, but June was remarkably low. I would like to see the data on "excess deaths" over a longer period (ie for the year). It is possible that the virus has accelerated some deaths vs caused them and that data will help show what the overall impact has been.
