Best wishes to all on this long 4th of july weekend.

While this years celebration is different, i still fondly recall the my younger days when i stood at attention with my classmates in elementary thru high school each morning, hands over hearts and reciting the pledge of allegiance to our flag.

To this day, im proud when our team does well at the olympics, get choked up when i visit arlington, or gettysburg, or the drill field memorial.

I'm looking forward to a few burgers and beers!
