There's also a great variance in actually getting unemployment based on

where you live. I know several people in VA who were able to file and receive unemployment almost instantly when all this started. Meanwhile my brother in Florida was out of work for months. It took him weeks to even be able to get onto the Florida unemployment website. He finally filed in May. He has yet to see any money.
