about the mob mentality and fall out should something happen, you can't make all life's decisions based on fear. You well articulated response basically boils down to optics. Thats fundamentally flawed.
If its really about safety and the "God forbid" mindset then we have to cancel everything. College. School. Work.... Martial law. We can't do that so we have to make prudent and wise decisions based on reality and legitimate outcomes not fear and backlash
Case in point, what if one college student gets sick and dies. Can't the same be said. Or middle school student. Or hair stylist. Or flight attendant. Etc etc
