Just based on the comments from the others mentioned in the article I don’t

see Swinney’s faith as an act. That said he has not handled things well and I think the people who have gotten in his ear believe he listened but are taking a wait and see attitude. Most public universities and their fans would overlook his Christian values and “evangelical “ ways if it meant one NC and upgrades to the college beyond football. So if he were fired there would probably be a bidding war for his services in spite of his poor handling of some things. He is no dummy and he is doing some damage control now. I think he can and will listen and tone it down and even rethink his methods but I’m not sure he will ever quiet his faith because it seems pretty much who he is and he seems very passionate about what God has meant for his life. He admitted he had a lot to learn and if we are honest I believe we all would admit the same. I hope we can all listen and bring forth change and do it as K’Von Wallace said “ all out of pure love.” Go Hokies!!
