Need a cordless tool recommendation

I have an oldish Black and Decker drill that at least needs a new chuck.
I'm trying to solve two problems:
- drill bits slipping particular once they've gone a bit deep regardless of the torque setting
- Difficulty driving longish wood screws. Torques out or strips screw head. I have had more luck when doing some deck repair with a Torx head which it didn't have much trouble with...

Other notes:
- With some projects, having 2 tools would make it nice to not need need to switch back and forth between drill and driver bits. So there's some value in that to me.
- Most of my other tools are corded, but I could see getting a cordless string trimmer, leaf blower, etc. in the future.

So, do I:
A) Just replace the chuck in this drill
B) Buy a black and decker Impact Driver with same battery ($70)
C) Buy an impact driver ignoring being in the same ecosystem
D) Jump ship to Ryobi and get their Drill/Impact Driver kit ($100)
E) ???
