Cynic in me thinks most conferences are doing this for liability concerns.


Thinking more the Power 5 teams. Why not just have the players sign a liability waiver if they play which will mitigate against any class action in the future.

Secondary question, if some conferences are shutting down their season, I assume it means no playoffs?
