He supports football and fully grasps the many things predicated upon its success. This is not about a man’s ideology. And I’d like to see precisely what you mean by him not being a good fit in Blacksburg. Our academic side of things, which is ultimately the mission of our institution, is humming. He has carried forward Dr. Steger‘s plans and branched off from them to achieve other successes. It’s ambitious as we should all expect of our president. His political beliefs have nothing to do with it. Yet if you’re stuck on that, I suppose just look at election results in Blacksburg.
