Formula One fans, Turkey day is over.

To nobody's surprise, Lewis Hamilton is now a seven-time champion, putting a cherry on top by winning the race! My hat's off to the man who may be the greatest race car driver of all time.

Championship aside, this was a fun race to watch. Probably not so much fun to drive, though. Amazingly, there was no safety car for the entire event, and only one virtual safety car. But yellow flags aplenty.

The moment Bottas spun in turn one it was pretty clear that Lewis was winning the title today. Apparently he broke something in the steering on that incident but to his credit he kept going. And kept spinning.

I felt bad for Lance Stroll on his second stint on intermediate tires. He went from a 12 second lead to finishing P9 through really no fault of his own. Then I remembered that he is still driving for Tracing Point next year because his dad owns the team, and they are kicking out Sergio Perez because Seb Vettel needed a ride. So, that moment of pity was quickly over.

In a major irony, it was both Checo and Seb on the podium with Lewis. It was great seeing Seb up there again, even more so seeing him run an error-free race when so many others were spinning & sliding like it was a sport unto itself. Even his pit crew couldn't ruin his day, though they did try their best.

George Russell ran into the wall on the parade lap, smh. Mercifully, they didn't show a replay and he was able to continue. I really want to see him to have a good run at Bahrain.
