IMO. My biggest difference is that if CJF really saw Galen Scott as a lynch pin, the entire gambit was doomed to fail from the start. Scott, just like Cornelsen, MIGHT be a mediocre, at best, P5 level coordinator and even that ranking is probably generous. Fuente is a solid X/O coordinator type who with the proper level of seasoning, support and guidance may have been enjoyed great success at VT. To date it is debatable whether he received that or whether he ignored it if it was received. While the virus certainly significantly impacted this year, when similar type issues repeatedly creep up over a number of years they cannot be solely blamed on a virus and at least raise the question as to whether there are more underlying structural, systemic issues. I like CJF, hoped and still hope(probably in vain) that he could be successful but, there is mounting evidence that this year may be more confirmation of earlier red flags rather than just unavoidable effects of a pandemic.
