We'll need at least 70% immunity for herd immunity, maybe more


It depends on behavior as well. More people in close proximity with each other creates more potential exposure requires higher immunity % than people distancing.

The issue may just be production. It's going to take months to produce enough doses. Return to normal life will be gradual based on how comfortable people are. I'm hoping the vaccine shows good results early on and convinces the skeptics to go ahead and get it too.
