Pretty smart, actually. It’s a free year, so he doesn’t lose any eligibility by sitting out this year.

Athletes should be getting the vaccine before a lot of people, honestly, if they’re out there expected to play sports. They really have no idea what long term health ramifications could happen to them if they get COVID.
