Declining a bowl is like trying not to score vs Clemson at the half

It wreaks of indifference, complacency, and a lack of desire to proactively control your own destiny. I hope this is not a micro example of a potential macro problem with our program. If you love the sport, are competitive, have confidence, and have a LUNCH PAIL attitude - why would you not take every opportunity you can to show up, play and win?

If the players truly declined the bowl, shame on them, as I feel like it's a small slap in the face to every team since 1993 which busted their ass to get to the post-season and build this streak. If we didn't qualify but gave it our best shot, that's one thing but to pass on the opportunity is disappointing.
