I think it is hard to balance
Bede’s liabilities on offense and Cone’s liabilities on defense.
As for shot selection, I agree with you. Although Aluma missed a bunch of chippies and several threes that he sometimes makes. I thought his sub-par game was the key to why we lost.
So my question, it appears that Coach Young wants all of his players to take the open threes, even questionable shooters like Bede, Mutts and Radford. Is that a good strategy, hoping they will develop into more consistent shooters as the season progresses?
I really like that we finally have enough depth to keep trying different combinations and find ones that work.
