I see where VTCALS72 is coming from, and it is almost logical that he would jump to the conclusion that I am piling on. I have been in that locker room and have some idea what a head coach and coordinators have on their plates. That said, our recruiting is not at the level, on paper anyway, that it could be. Who could expect the coaches to make such an idea into reality? It would take a montrous effort and would need, as you aptly pointed out, the Athletic Department to make it happen. The coaches as part of the plan would need to be all in - it's that simple - out there like flies on sugar and set the tone selling Virginia Tech like there is no tomorrow. We need these guys from the past to also help sell the future. It's just an idea and is supposed to be chopped up, chewed on, regurgitated and made better, if it's any good at all. To mention the coaches in any light, some people just take offense though. That's the way it is. But some things don't need to be.
