I have to imagine that was as cathartic for the team and staff as us fans


My Thoughts:
-Man of the match has to be Howard. What a huge win.
-great to see the improvement from Brady
-continued high-level wrestling from Latona & Myers
-Bolen wrestled up to last year’s standard today
-Hillegas was so close but had a few freshman lapses that made the difference. Future is bright though
-Smith kept fighting but couldn’t overcome the early mistakes
-Borst did enough to get the W and I’m rooting for him to take the next step and beat the NCST and UVA level guys
-thinking about Mekhi, it says a lot when a top 10 win feels like a disappointment. Now he’s got something to fuel the fire for ACCs and nationals
-Bryce is a big move guy and O’Conner showed some adjustments and made Bryce wrestle on his terms. Need a fresh approach next time.
