He was exactly who crossed my mind when writing that post. He seemingly


used the backboard from as far out at 15', maybe more. He had a very soft shot that found the rims to be friendly.

I remember the story also about him on two occasions asking for the rims to be measured at road games because he expected the height was wrong. On both occasions, the rims were set at 2" lower than regulation.
