Pitt scored .97 points per possession against Miami (12th in ACC in D eff), .84 ppp against Louisville (3rd), .94ppp against Syracuse the first time (9th) and 1.33 in the second game, 1.05 against Duke (7th), 1.09 against Wake (11th), 1ppp against UNC (6th), .88ppp against ND (10th).
So their offensive numbers, which aren't good, are also boosted by one big outlier of a performance in their second game with Syracuse. VT is the second best defense in the ACC right now and it should be a real problem for Pitt to put the ball in the basket.
