In general, the first line of defense against a triangle choke is......


.....to stack up the opponent like Rampage started to do and apply leverage against the triangle if it has not been fully sunk in to break the grip. But if your lower back and legs are strong enough to do what Rampage did, then that's the best defense in MMA or the street. Not really a valid defense in BJJ.
