From UVA's NCAA tourney win...you don't call walking on UVA.
The ball has to stop motion for it to be palming. The taking the ball essentially from the bottom to dribble as long as the ball keeps moving will not get called today. The ball has to hit the floor before the pivot is moved for a walk or a 3rd step. I think the walk when a play begins to dribble is called pretty well. That 3rd step walk can be questionable. My issue with how UVA is officated is moving screens. When their bigs set screens up high they rarely come to a stop (or at least to my maroon colored glasses).
