5 Hokie mile runners under 4 minutes recently.


I doubt half of the folks who visit this site have ever even run one-quarter of a mile in one minute; four current students and one grad student running unattached all went under the four minute mark for times that distance recently in Tech's Rector Field House. IMHO, a big WOW there. I doubt in NCAA history there are but a handful of schools that can say the same, if any. Details with names and times can be found on hokiesports.

As well, Tech has a 400 meter man who so far has the 3rd best time in the world.
