We've enjoyed the (free) NC Museum of Natural Sciences


It's in a pretty good location downtown. Walk a couple blocks south past the Capitol building and there are some good restaurants, but would suggest getting a look at what's open and picking from there.

Also, Wake Forest is a cool little town - suggest a little time on White Street and hit up Lumpy's Ice Cream.
