...is obviously a good salesman that he was able to cut through the negative messages floating around out there. That Elissa Cunane and Kitley played at the same HS but Cunane is a year older, suggests that Kitley played in her shadow for a year and didn't want to again, explains why EK didn't sing w/State but still doesn't explain why she got away from UNC, Duke and WF. But who's complaining? Kitley can make a case for First Team ACC and Shepard will be but 2-players from VT on 1st team All ACC would be too much for the ACC Blue Bloods. Even so, the players know and esp. so do the potential recruits. Understanding the dynamics of female athletics, Kitley will be a great calling card going forward, esp. by virtue of the fact she has two seasons left. By the time she is ready for the WNBA, she'll be a "lottery pick," and promising franchise player.
