VT finished right where the ACC coaches picked in preseason.

VT was picked 7th, finished 7th.

And of course the Hokies lost thru cancellation 2 games each vs. Virginia and Duke, and one vs. BC. All three teams were picked lower than VT. Not hard to imagine VT winning maybe 4 of those 5 games.
