I agree
I was trying to point out the problem that we saw that (in my mind) applies to LSU. Maybe we focused on what we wanted to hear. My son will enjoy the athletics whether they are good or bad (Rice, Embry, Drexel, RPI, etc...) and he has had a great college experience at UF (sports, extras, clubs, etc...) . We just thought it interesting that some schools were just about their athletics and other stuff. It was like they were hiding their academics. Some schools didn't need to focus on academics ... but still did... GT and Rice were fantastic. My wife was crushed he didn't get into Rice...I thankfully sighed relief...there would be no money for there.
To me a school should be about school first but some just don't seem to give off that vibe and I get that from LSU. They are what they do and they are what they tolerate to go off the thread prompt.
