Due to covid year we have 25+ pitchers and we’ve used most if them. I think we can narrow down to 10-12 good arms. Our weekend starters are fine, top 4 bullpen arms are probably avg acc. Our defense is definitely the worst in the acc though. We’ve probably had 25 routine plays this season that we did not make, that also were not ruled errors.
I’ve watched vt baseball for 30 yrs, worst defensive team i’ve seen. However, if our top 7 pitchers stay healthy, and top 4 players (Rumfield, Cross, Biddison, Madden) are healthy, we can really compete. Right now Simonelli, Biddison and maybe Cross are hurt, and that is a problem.
