early on and the same happened in the SOCON when WCU started up. Why? Players are attracted to 'instant' playing time plus player development is not as critical in softball. In fact, it's a general rule if you're not starting as a SOPH it's you likely aren't going to. Girls from high level TB programs generally come ready to play as freshmen. See Fagan for example.
