She did mention in an article somewhere that she was planning on going somewhere closer to home but when Arizona recruited her she felt like that was the right place for her and she changed her mind. Her plan originally was to be closer to home, she wasn't lying when she said that. When you have a chance to play for a team like Arizona that is a great opportunity. I think regardless if Jones was on the team or not she would have still left. She was close to Mabrey and she also graduated and I think she wanted a new experience somewhere else. Nothing really against Virginia Tech, just a basketball move. I am happy for her for getting to the Final Four. She is a hard worker and has a great heart. Those are the types of kids that deserve that type of success.
