UVA is hosting an 8 team match play event. Teams are seeded according to their national ranking. Six ACC schools plus Maryland abs Richmond. This morning VT, seeded third, beat UNC. This afternoon we beat second seeded UVA. Tomorrow we play Duke for the title. It’s five golfers per team playing 5 individual matches for one team point each. 18 holes head to head match play. It’s great experience and is used for the final stage of the NCAA tournament. Regular season events are all medal score with each team playing 5 golfers and counting the low 4 scores each 18 hole round. I believe we are ranked around 15 in the country.
