The most remote-feeling road I've driven

Is the Dempster HIghway in Canada - 450 mile gravel road and two towns between the start and finish. 2nd place goes to US 54 through Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Probably the flattest place I've ever seen and just nothing out there.
