Hmmm, sounds like he’s a niche player best suited for particular situations

I’ve been critical of Bede and I think he was even worse offensively than his basic numbers suggest.

But I think as long as he’s not taking a roster spot from a guy who is a sure fire 2-3 yr starter, he can be a nice piece to 1) spell Murphy for 8-10 min a game (or more if he gets in foul trouble) and 2) can provide match-up options if the opponent has a 1 or 2 who can score.
