Possible explanation is late season fatigue, late in games.

Pretty sure those home run balls from ND and now Liberty were missing a little “gas” and maybe a few inches off from where she wanted.

It’s also possible that hitters are making adjustments and looking for certain things by their 3rd at bat against her. Remember how dominant Ozzy was on Saturday the first 1.5 times through the lineup? Then they started hitting her pretty hard.

Hindsight is 20/20 of course, but I wonder if Ozzy or Ivy had pitched the 7th, if we don’t get out of there with a 3-0 win.

It has been the 7th inning that has given Keely trouble of late. Might be time to consider the good ‘ol “closer” strategy (Ozzy or Ivy).
