September Negotiations

Following are my thoughts and in no way should be considered an official Comcast response or stance in the matter.

I would assume the negotiations are underway towards a September deadline when current contract runs out between Comcast and Disney. Note that they were able to come to an agreement with Disney+ and ESPN+ becoming available on the Flex product for over the top services.

Also look at it this way, Sure the Northeast Division of comcast cable would welcome the ACC Network, but what about the other two divisions? Does the west coast really want/care to pay for the ACC Network? Some of the Central Region falls within the ACC territory but pretty sure comcast customers in Detroit probably don't care about the channel.

Disney demands carriage across the country for every customer at $X.XX per subscriber. This drives up the cost of programming for every single customer. That cost shows up directly in every bill. You may be surprised to learn that there are a lot more people who don't watch sports than do.
