Assistant coaches in college basketball exist mostly to recruit. I think being successful at a place like VT requires some short term thinking, Chester Frazier is a superstar and so MY rightly let him have a huge role in the program which was able to maximize what Frazier could do. Now that Chester is leaving the staff going forward needs to be set up to best maximize what can be done at VT.
