My guess is that they probably need to add one, I would guess lacrosse would be the most likely. Both are limited to 132 scholarships, but lacrosse can use partials spread over a bigger roster, which helps for Title 9 balancing (if they are trying to even out the number of male vs. female stuent athletes). Gymnastics scholarships have to be full, which limits team size. Gymnastics also has a higher equipment budget and more injuries (insurance/medical cost), but can draw bigger crowds, has more NIL $ potential, and a bigger supply of potential recruits and fans in the area.
