Had my first* LED bulb failure today

* I've had other(s) fail super early

These are some no names (Solray bulbs) I got off Amazon. The box rates their life at 25k hours. I had them outdoor on a timer so I'm pretty sure that I got ~22k. It appears a small amount of water may have gotten inside, but I can't tell if that caused damage or not.

The bulb cost $5 and cost $20.57 to operate (8.5W * 22kh * $0.11/kWh).
An incandescent bulb would have cost (60W * 22kh * $.11/kWh) $145 to operate. I get the impression that they typically last 1200 hours. So I'd have replaced it 18 times (that seems wrong?). I can't recall what I used to pay for an incandescent 60W...

How angry about the 3k hours shy of the lifetime should I be?
