I really wish I could learn Spanish. But I have a wretched aptitude for

new language learning if I'm not in a speaking environment. When I was a VT student, I spent two summers and a Christmas month with my folks in French-speaking countries (Chad and Ivory Coast) and still have a maybe 100-150-word French vocabulary. I can still find a bathroom, work in a kitchen, get to the Post Office and the library.
