Their summer recap for the Cape Cod League champion Brewster Whitecaps includes the following nice blurb: "Griffin Green (RHP, Virginia Tech) was another fastball/slider arm working in the low 90s and showing some two-plane action with the breaker. He threw primarily in relief this summer for Brewster but ended the season with an exclamation point with five shutout innings in a playoff start against Bourne, striking out seven and allowing just two hits. He’s an arm of interest for 2023." D1 Baseball also listed him as a Class of 2023 top 25 prospect based on guys who played this summer at the Cape.
