Gotcha. The ref must have blown the whistle before the shot.


If the ref waited to blow his whistle he would probably play the advantage and allow the goal, but it is pretty tricky in that instance. It really depends on how long he has to wait to give the advantage. He will come back to the previous foul if there is not an advantage. It is tricky in that instance though as he is kind of giving two opportunities to the offense if he allows the guy to shoot then if he misses calls the foul and PK, he has to allow one or another. Most advantages don't result in a direct scoring opportunity like that.

On the hand ball, if it was intentionally done to stop a goal it would be a straight red card.
