She wasn't even amongst the substitutes, so I'm not sure. She played against JMU earlier this week, so maybe something happened in that game or the past couple days.

Emma Steigerwald started the game at left back. She's right-footed and a forward, so it was just an awkward spot for her to be forced into. She played ok, but didn't offer any attacking threat and made the field narrower, whereas Veith really stretches things and can whip balls in to take advantage of Tori Powell's height and hold up play.
